Good morning, ProviderNation.
The fine folks at NCAL are popping the corks. The association’s empire is growing: Its membership rolls have jumped by 10 percent and now include more than 150,000 members for the first time in its history.
This is good news, NCAL’s big guy, Gov. Mark Parkinson says. “As 2013 unfolds in Washington, we now have even more voices to echo our clear message: We are here to help lawmakers develop the solutions our patients and residents need to lead quality-enriched lives,” he says.
NCAL’s Executive Director (and former nursing home brat) Dave Kyllo says he’s “proud” of the milestone. “This record growth is a testament to the ever-growing popularity of assisted living in serving the needs of our nation’s seniors,” he says.
