Auditors have until tomorrow to send providers requests for more information about payments that have already been made, until Feb. 28 to ask for more information on any payments that are pending, and until June 1 to send the dreaded “improper payment files” to the bosses.
It’s not going to fix the appeals backlog problem by itself, but it’s nonetheless “welcome news,” AHCA’s indefatigable Dianne De La Mare says in a memo to her association’s members.
